Suggested Uses for Care Labels
- Washing at the correct temperature – This will keep your clothing from shrinking and not damaging any embellishments
- Without a washing tag, customers have to guess and if they’re wrong it will damage the clothing
- Wash instructions should always be on the label
- Fabric content is important for the customer as they may be allergic to the fabric
- Washing tags and fabric content must be on the label for customs to release when shipping in or out of the country
- Instruction on how to dry the clothing: hang dry, dry clean only, air dry, remove after washing, preshrunk.
- Country or state of origin: Made in USA, Made in China, Made in Miami, Made in California, etc.
